
U.S. Zinc, a worldwide manufacturer, recycler, and supplier of zinc oxide, zinc dust, zinc metal, and zinc fines. With plants in North America, South America, and Asia, the company is an affiliate of Brazilian-based Votorantim Metais and was one of the five largest zinc producers in the world.
"Did you know" Campaign
Over a period of six months, the company used a multi-point communication outreach strategy to build employee awareness. Under the theme of “Did You Know,” the campaign was divided into six monthly installments: Campaign introduction, Zinc Oxide, Zinc Dust, Zinc Metals, Zinc Fines, and Campaign Closeout. With a lot of information to share under each product sector, campaign materials were developed to be educational and visually appealing, and were featured in both English and Spanish. Multiple modes of communication each month were used to share information: table tents in employee break rooms, flyers, paycheck inserts, and emailers. Using pre- and post-campaign survey analysis, employee awareness of U.S. Zinc’s customer base increased by 30%.
Notable deliverables included: brand application templates to ensure company-wide consistency, project management of an in-depth corporate website in partnership with another agency, promotional items, large-scale advertising campaigns, internal awareness campaigns, brochures, fact sheets, presentation decks, and other general marketing materials.
